Fungal Nails – Initial Consultation£65
At this appointment we will confirm the infection and discuss the appropriate treatment for you. This may be either chemical lacquer, oral antifungals or medical laser.
If we need to confirm the exact infection we will culture the infection, at a fee of £20.

Ingrown Nail Treatment£160

Please note. Over seventy per cent of patients do not require further treatment.
Nail SurgeryFrom £350
Nail surgery permanently narrows the nail and removes part of the nail root to treat persistent ingrowing nails. We offer this treatment, with and without ‘phenol’. This chemical inhibits regrowth of the nail matrix, thereby reducing the risk of the ingrowing nail returning. One dressing appointment is included if necessary.
Approximately ninety-nine per cent of people undergoing this surgery do not need further treatment.
Shock Wave Therapy£107
This non-invasive treatment uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in damaged tissues. It is commonly used to treat Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis but is also useful in the management of heel spurs, Morton’s Neuroma, stress fractures, bursitis and shin splints.
It is particularly effective for chronic conditions that have not responded well to standard treatments such as medication or physical therapy.
Consultation for Foot Pain£160
During this consultation we will explore the possible causes – an injury or fracture, a gait, muscle or tendon problem, or a disease like arthritis. We will test for restricted movement of the hip, knee or foot joints, and also for over tight muscles and tendons or weak muscle or tendon groups. This consultation may include some gait analysis, such as a slow motion filmed assessment of you walking and running. We will also advise you about additional tests, x-rays, MRi’s or ultrasounds that may be required and the associated costs.
We will give you a printed personal exercise programme, with easy to follow diagrams, for you to take home.

Additional pairs of orthotics, ordered at the same time or at a later date:£320 per pair
Non-custom OrthoticsFrom £68

Orthotic Annual Review£160
We recommend regular reviews to check that your devices are still providing the optimum correction.
During this consultation we will also check how you are loading the devices and your gait while wearing them. We will also test muscle groups to ensure they are sufficiently flexible and balanced. The orthotics will also be checked to ensure they still have sufficient padding or if a refurbishment is required. If a new prescription is required, this and the associated costs will be made clear.
